GDPR Compliance
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) approved by the EU Parliament on 14 April 2016, goes into effect 25 May 2018. It applies to all companies processing and holding the personal data of data subjects residing in the European Union, regardless of the company’s location.
The Focus GDPR implementation supports the principle of “Privacy by Design”, that is, straight out-of-the box. Focus understands that its products and services will form part of the controls and processes that businesses will implement in order to meet some of their own GDPR obligations.
